The construction industry is evolving…

and we’re proud to be part of the change.

While women now make up around 15% of the UK construction workforce, according to the Office for National Statistics, there’s still work to do to create truly inclusive environments where women can build long, successful careers.

At Everlast, supporting women isn’t a box-ticking exercise – it’s embedded in how we lead, how we support our people, and how we shape the future of our industry.

Here’s how we’re making a real difference.

1. Women Leading From the Front

Representation matters – and we’re proud that 50% of our Management Team at Everlast are women.

Our female leaders don’t just hold titles – they actively shape policies, influence processes, and help drive strategic decisions across the business. They provide guidance and mentorship to women starting their careers, share their expertise across teams, and work closely with our directors to continuously improve how we operate.

Because their impact is so significant, we proudly showcase our Management Team on our Careers page and will soon be featuring them on our About Us website page – reinforcing how integral they are to our success.

2. Raising Awareness Around Women’s Health

Creating an inclusive workplace means recognising the realities people face outside of work.

We provide education, courses, and resources to raise awareness around women-specific health topics including menopause, fertility challenges, and more.

Our expectation is simple: a culture of empathy, understanding, and zero judgement – where everyone feels supported and respected.

3. Free Sanitary Products Across Our Offices and Sites

Practical support matters.

We provide free sanitary products across our offices and sites to ensure no one feels uncomfortable or unsupported at work. It’s a simple but important step that reflects our commitment to removing barriers and supporting wellbeing in meaningful ways.

4. Real Career Development… Not Just Promises

Women deserve clear pathways to grow, lead, and succeed.

We actively support career progression through training opportunities, mentoring, and development across different areas of the business. By investing in skills and growth, we’re helping more women step into leadership and specialist roles – and stay in the construction industry long term.

5. A Culture Where Women Feel Valued and Heard

Culture isn’t created overnight – it’s built through actions, conversations, and leadership.

At Everlast, we’re committed to creating a workplace where women feel confident, respected, and empowered to contribute fully. From open conversations to supportive leadership, we’re focused on building an environment where everyone can thrive.

Building More Than Projects… Building Opportunity

Supporting women in construction isn’t a campaign – it’s a commitment.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, but we’re even more focussed on what comes next. By continuing to listen, learn, and evolve, we’re helping shape a more inclusive future for our industry.

Because at Everlast, building better environments starts with building a better culture.

This Women in Construction Week…

We’re proud to be showcasing three of our incredible women in construction across our socials.

All excelling in roles traditionally seen as ‘male-dominated’, proving that leadership, expertise and impact have no gender.
