Asbestos remediation

Also referred to as Asbestos Abatement solutions to tackle the dangers and health hazards of asbestos are essential in refurbishment projects for buildings constructed before the year 2000, or construction projects undertaken on or in such buildings. Everlast will advise you on the pertinent regulations impacting your project, and undertake safe removal and treatment of asbestos roofing products.

Built up felt roofing systems

Everlast have been installing Built Up Roofing systems (Modified Bitumen systems) for over 20 years. We offer an expert service in all three highly durable systems: SBS, APP, and APAO. Bitumen felt is more commonly laid these days as torch-on or flame-free systems, following the Safe2Torch guidance, although there is also a trend towards cold-applied systems using self-adhesive, mechanically fixed or adhesive bonded membranes that minimises the need for hot works. This cold applied technique uses hot-air welding techniques to seal the membrane laps. Green roof

Green Roof systems are more than just aesthetically pleasing; they provide a solution to the environmental issues triggered by the built environment, most pertinently in urban developments. Everlast deliver quality solutions for both intensive and extensive roofs, designed to absorb rainwater, provide insulation, compliance with Part L, and minimise the heat island effect.

Hot melt

Everlast installs hot melt roofing and structural waterproofing systems that provide outstanding level of adhesion, strength and flexibility. Hot melt systems are one of the only roofing systems on the market to have ‘self-healing’ properties. The roofing membrane is able to repair most puncture damage itself, eliminating the need for patchwork maintenance.

Lead works

Everlast have extensive experience working with lead, which is crucial to ensure a professional installation. Lead is a highly versatile roofing material. Everlast are specialists in all aspects of leadwork including traditional heritage works, repair work renovation and restoration work as well as making bespoke lead products, designed to your specification, we use the correct coded lead for each individual part of the install.

Liquid applied waterproofing

Among their many benefits as a roof coating (tough, elastomeric, resistant to UV degradation and airborne pollutants), Liquid Applied Waterproofing solutions can be installed over existing roof covering with no need to remove the old material. Rooflights

Abundant access to daylight improves the internal environment of a building, and reduces the need for internal lighting thereby reducing energy costs. From site-assembled double and triple skin rooflights, to factory assembled composite rooflights and dome rooflights, Everlast will help you select the perfect Rooflight solution for your project and provide installation experts to take care of everything on site.

Sheeting and cladding

Environmental issues are as high on our agenda as they are on yours. Our experience across an enormous diversity of construction projects comes to bear in high quality, durable and reliable vertical or roofing sheeting and cladding solutions for both refurbishment and new build projects. We focus on the technical performance that will be required of the solution in contending with the hazards it will face in its lifetime from fire and rain ingress. Singly ply roof systems

Single-ply roofing systems comprise a single-ply membrane, flashings, and adhesive, and are often combined with insulation. Everlast provides the solution best aligned with the aesthetics you seek to achieve — lead look, copper, or standing seam effect. We’re experienced in all single-play systems: TPO, EPDM, and PVC. We’ll also advise on the best approach for your project and ensure compliance with Part L where required.

Slating and tiling

Slating and tiling is a craft, requiring unwavering attention to detail. Everlast employs skilled craftsmen with impeccable qualifications and a dedication to high standards of workmanship. We have a long-standing track record in slating and roof installations using every type of material, from artificial slates to concrete rooftiles, chimney stack works, point step and upstand flashings, through to the repair and replacement of slates and tiles.

Standing seam profiled systems

Everlast provide high performance, long-lasting standing seam solutions, in the form of both aluminium profiled sheets and other great metal finishes. We work with various gauge metals and various types of metals, ranging from pre-finished galvanized steel and aluminium to copper, stainless steel, and lead; all architecturally flexible, low maintenance, and offering low risk of water penetration.

Everlast have taken the role of Principal Contractor on a number of key projects for Jones Hargreaves clients since we set up our business in 2009.
